We pray God's blessings upon the hands & hearts of those who have received the Word -- we are so thankful for this sweet Thank You message someone left behind! We hope this box has been a blessing to others. It blesses me to see God's Word getting into people's hands!

New Bibles, Tracts & Gifts!

I am grateful to announce that sometime in the last few weeks, all four of the Bibles that were initially available in the Bible Box have been claimed! I pray in earnest for the hands that received them -- may you be blessed, and your eyes opened to the power and truth of God's Word, and the extraordinary gift of His grace and love through His Son Jesus Christ.

For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe. 1 Thessalonians 2:13

The Bible Box has since been replenished with a new stock of King James Bibles as well as a few new tracts, a book on…

Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way: 1 Samuel 12:23

It is of utmost importance for God’s saints to labor in prayer for others! Those who are called the saints of God have an advantage in prayer because God will hear them (Psalm 37:14, John 9:31). Have you ever noticed there are certain people in the Bible that God tells others to seek out to pray for them?

Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my…

He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail. 1 Samuel 2:9

It's a lot easier to comfort ourselves that the LORD is with us and working in our lives when everything seems to be going right. When we step into uncertainty though and our path no longer seems clear to us, many times we are tempted to doubt, fear, or begrudge what may lie ahead. We often delude ourselves into thinking it is us who is in control of our lives, and sometimes God allows things to befall us to put that assumption in check -- it is GOD Who is in control of all things! Especially when it comes to the lives of His saints, who are precious to Him.

While it may seem daunting to step out into the unknown, or to start all…

Special Prayer: Dedication of Bible Box

Lord, today we dedicate the Bethel's Blessings Bible Box for Your purposes, and to Your honor and glory! Thank You for providing the resources and workmanship necessary to make this possible, and we remember now Your promise in Isaiah 55:11 -- So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Please bless and protect this labor of love, and all those who had a part in bringing it together. Bless the hands and hearts of those who will receive Your Word, and continue to use this ministry in accordance with Your righteous will.

Bibles, tracts, and other items were obtained from the Bible Baptist Bookstore.

Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. Psalm 119:133

Psalm 119 is the longest chapter in the Bible, and fittingly, it is all about the Word of God. When we consider the importance that God places on His own Word, going so far as to magnify it even above His name (Psalm 138:2,) then we can begin to understand the importance of revering its authority, and why He commanded us not to add unto or diminish ought from it (Deuteronomy 4:2.)

God preserved His Word for us to be our weapon, defense, comfort, and instruction. When we walk according to His Word, we align our lives with His will for us, and deepen our fellowship with our Creator. It is also a means for us to have victory over sin and temptation. Whenever you find yourself in a challenging situation, or if you…

But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. 2 Thessalonians 3:3

What a blessed assurance that we serve a God who is faithful and just, who keeps His promises even when we fail to uphold our own, and whose mercy and lovingkindness endures forever! And because He is faithful, we are reminded to look for His blessings even in the midst of our troubles. No matter the circumstances of our lives, we can always put our hope in the Lord to have our best interests in mind.

When trouble befalls us or we find ourselves afflicted by some sort of unpleasantness, remember that God at times allows certain things to trouble us to spare us from greater calamity in the future. Remember the story of Joseph the son of Jacob, whose own brothers sold him to merchants -- and though God allowed this mischief t…
